PURPOSE
The Purchasing Administrator supports the Purchasing Department by maintaining documents for the Daisy Brand Approved Supplier Program, tracking and entering supplier credits as well as supporting the Capital Project Administrator in auditing invoices and maintaining system to ensure accuracy of supplier payments for capital projects. The role expected to evolve over time as more opportunities for impact present themselves.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Purchasing Administrator role will work hand in hand with the Purchasing, Engineering and Plant teams within Daisy Brand. The role will organize and ensure accuracy of capital project spend from PO creation through payment as well as aid the Capital Purchasing Administrator in preparing for and leading Capital Project Approval Meetings.
The role will collaborate with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to ensure all documentation for Daisy Brand's Approved Supplier Program are maintained to the highest degree possible. This process will involve ensuring vendors provide all audit and specification documents in a timely manner to the degree necessary for approval.
Other duties include, but are not limited to, collaborating with Daisy Brand plant Quality Mangers and Receiving Teams to maintain accuracy and timeliness of vendor credits into ERP system as well as cross training with members of the Purchasing Department on an as needed basis.
